Please join us on Thursday March 18th at 12:00 pm for a one hour lunch and learn focused on law library digitization projects.
Topics that will be covered include:
Reasons to digitize
Barriers to digitizing
Importance of metadata
Possible pitfalls involved in a digitization project and how to avoid.
Examples of library digital projects in government and academia.
Possible applications in Firm libraries
We will have lunch and then a few short presentations and then open up the floor for discussion. John Joergensen from Rutgers Law School Library and Michelle Ayers from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals Library will speak about their experiences implementing digitization projects.
Join us for a casual discussion of the above issues and anything else related to library digitization.
