This on-demand online introductory legal research course is geared towards professionals and students interested in learning the basics of legal research or needing a refresher. The course is presented by instructors from various Philadelphia area law schools and firms. Topics covered include an introduction to the legal system, statutory research, researching case law, using secondary sources, researching administrative law, and using paid and free services to locate the law. Each unit covers both federal and Pennsylvania-specific materials, so participants will be able to start familiarizing themselves with researching in both jurisdictions after each unit.
